Quick answer

Every traveller to Aruba, including babies, must complete the online ED card before the trip. Since 1 July 2024, visitors arriving by air also pay a sustainability fee (introduced at US$20) through the same ED card system. Children under 8 and cruise passengers are exempt, and you pay it once per calendar year.

What is the Aruba ED card?

The Embarkation and Disembarkation (ED) card is Aruba's mandatory online entry form. Every traveller, including infants and children, needs an approved ED card. You can fill it in within seven days before your trip, on the official ED card website only. Avoid paid look-alike sites.

How much is the Aruba sustainability fee?

The fee was introduced on 1 July 2024 at US$20 per visitor arriving by air, paid online with the ED card. If you have not paid before check-in, you will not get clearance to travel. Check the current amount on the official ED card site when you apply.
